My name is Lauren, and I am a fourth year at UF, pursuing a bachelor's in advertising. I am also taking prerequisites for optometry. Basically, I'm living by a quote. -clears throat- (Ahem)
"Be stubborn with your end goal (optometry), but be flexible in your methods (advertising)."
So, I want to open up my own clinic and then advertise the CRAP out of it.
I'm just a small town (Pensacola) girl trying to achieve the most out of life doing as much as I can because I want to give back to my family, and I know that life is short. (So, that's how this class comes into play. I want to understand and get into the mindset of being an entrepreneur, because life is really what you make of it.)
Besides giving back to my family and living life to the fullest by engaging in every facet of business, I also love traveling--last spring semester I interned at a fashion magazine in New York, my very first city experience. (Getting to live one minute away from Times Square wasn't bad either.)
I just want to explore different places and GoPro all my experiences. I love video editing; I think Adobe Premiere Pro is bae. <3
At the end of the day, I really do believe that: "Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you react to it."
